PLEXSYS Awarded the Phase 3 Contract for Swiss F/A-18 to Tactical Fighter Controller Distributed Training Capabilities:

PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. is pleased to announce that is has been awarded the Phase 3 contract for the Training Capability F/A-18 – FLORAKO (TCFF) by Armasuisse, the procurement agency of the Swiss Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sports DDPS.
PLEXSYS will design, develop, and deliver the hardware and software required to establish an advanced distributed training environment between Swiss F/A-18 pilots and Swiss Tactical Fighter Controllers. The TCFF program will interface 4 (four) F/A-18 Swiss Hornet Tactical Simulators (SHOTS), located at Payerne Air Force Base (AFB) CH, and the FLORAKO C2 system, located at the Air Defense and Direction Center (ADDC) Dubendorf CH. PLEXSYS will establish Link-16, entity data, and voice communications connectivity between the ADDC and the SHOTS facilities.
The incorporation of the PLEXSYS ASCOT, the ASCOT Portal, the ASCOT Portal Control Station, the Enhanced Mission Record and Review System (EMRRS), and customized PLEXComm hardware and software shall provide the Swiss Air Force with an advanced, fully distributed virtual training environment. This persistent training capability is a milestone for the Swiss Air Force, as it not only replicates real world training, but saves time, money, and equipment by delivering true, accurate, and real-time information sharing.
