CAMAS, WASHINGTON (July 10, 2017) PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. once again meets its customers’ various communications needs with new features and improvements to enhance the user experience and simplify training. The suite of communications applications offered by PLEXSYS is a multi-role comprehensive group of communication capabilities. It contains numerous Live, Virtual, and Constructive training solutions to include Scripted Voice, Virtual Radio, Advanced User Interface, and Degraded Environment Injects.
With this update, PLEXSYS has made many significant performance improvements to the PLEXComm suite, sonomarc applications and the radio processing backend. These enhancements include: improved load handling for radios, better-quality usage on machines with multiple-cores, and an increased number of simultaneous SIP connections.
Additionally, the sonomarc Recorder can now record internal and external radio communications, adding to the previously available audio recording capability. Secondly, it can play the audio that is selected in the sonomarc client touchscreen out on DIS radios so other participants can hear the audio, during a debrief or other events. These recordings can then be exported and shared or used in PowerPoint or other applications to aid debriefs.
While adding and updating features, PLEXSYS continues to make its products more user-friendly. PLEXSYS product development teams are comprised of subject matter experts currently serving military members, veterans, pilots and trainers, and of course, the brightest software engineers in the radio communication and simulation community. With every release, we put ourselves in the trainee’s perspective to deliver a product that is intuitive and easy to use. Off the shelf, plug and play…you do not have to be an engineer to use it.
