MEET Sara Hatfield
Marketing Specialist
Sara Hatfield graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) with a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in Journalism. She is the proud daughter of Army Veterans.
Before joining PLEXSYS, Sara was a Social Media Manager for a precious metals company. Throughout school, she freelanced in multiple forms of marketing: including videography, graphic design, website design, and social media.
Sara joined the PLEXSYS team in September 2020 as a Marketing Specialist. She was looking for a new career adventure and found the right fit with PLEXSYS. Sara is currently the lead on all things Social Media. She has also worked on multiple marketing projects, including the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Multi-Domain Lab (MDL), Land Forces Australia, and the United Kingdom’s Defence Simulation Education and Training event.
“To this day, I still can’t believe I came across PLEXSYS through a phone app (Indeed) and how I came to be an employee here,” stated Sara, “I always tell my friends and family that I’m still “waiting for the other shoe to drop” because I have yet to have a bad day at PLEXSYS!”
Sara considers herself a homebody through and through, so staying home and hanging out with her 4-year-old son and husband is her idea of a great time. When she’s not at home, she volunteers as a Marketing Director for a non-profit organization called Community Helpers. The organization solicits funds to provide financial assistance to those who desperately need it within the community.
