MEET Jake Miller
Project and Business Development Manager

Jake Miller is a Project and Business Development Manager - Electronic Warfare Specialist for PLEXSYS Australia. He is a Veteran of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) with seven years of service.
While in the Navy, Jake was Electronic Warfare Analyst Submariner and completed five deployments. In the five years of deployment, he was a qualified submariner. Jake has a Cert 4 in Hyperbaric Operations and is obtaining a Project Management Diploma. Before joining RAN, he was a commercial driver.
"I joined PLEXSYS because I was looking to expand my skillset in an environment where the skills I learnt in the Navy could still be put to use and still provide support to the [Australian Defence Force]. I was also looking for a more stable lifestyle where I wouldn't be away for more than half the year."
Since joining the PLEXSYS Australia team, Jake says his most significant accomplishments are the installation of Mockingbird for Distributed Ground Station – Australia (DGS-AUS), working within 41WG, and assisting in training Air Battle Manager (ABM) and Aerospace Systems Operators (ASOP)s within the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
When asked what parts of the PLEXSYS mission he connects with, Jake replied, "Enhancing the readiness of the warfighter, I enjoy providing our customers with the tools they require to excel at their role within the [Australian Defence Force]."
